Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how WAO Consultoria handles the personal data collected through the website waoconsultoria.com.br, in accordance with Brazilian Law No. 13,709/2018 — the General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Last updated: 19 August 2026.

1. Who controls your data

WAO Consultoria
Av. Paulista, 1106 — 16th floor, suite 1, Bela Vista, São Paulo/SP, Brazil, 01310-914
E-mail for privacy matters: contato@waoconsultoria.com.br

WAO Consultoria is the controller of the personal data processed on this website — that is, the party that decides the purposes and means of that processing.

2. What data we collect

2.1 Data you give us

When you complete the contact form we collect your first name, last name, company, e-mail, phone number and the content of your message. When you request the free e-book we collect name and e-mail.

2.2 Data collected automatically

If you consent to statistics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used: pages visited, time on page, source of the visit, device type and approximate location by city. Without your consent, no statistics cookie is stored — the script stays blocked.

Regardless of consent, the hosting server records technical data required for the operation and security of the site, such as IP address, date and time of access and browser type.

3. Why we use the data, and on what legal basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare proposals — legal basis: preliminary steps related to a contract, at your request (art. 7, V, LGPD).
  • To send the requested e-book and related communications — legal basis: your consent (art. 7, I), which you may withdraw at any time.
  • To measure website audience — legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner (art. 7, I).
  • To keep the site secure and running — legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX) and compliance with legal obligations (art. 7, II).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or for profiling with legal effects.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or trade your data. We share it only with service providers acting as processors, to the extent necessary:

  • Hostinger — website hosting.
  • Microsoft 365 — receiving and storing messages sent through the form.
  • Google (Google Analytics) — audience statistics, only with your consent.
  • Omnisend — sending the e-book and e-mail communications, when you request them.

Some of these services are based outside Brazil, which involves an international transfer of data. We select providers that adopt contractual clauses and safeguards compatible with the LGPD.

5. How long we keep it

  • Contact form messages: up to 5 years after the last contact, for commercial records and possible legal defence.
  • E-book registration and communications: until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe.
  • Server access logs: 6 months, as required by the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework.
  • Statistics data (Google Analytics): 14 months, per the tool configuration.

6. Your rights

The LGPD (art. 18) grants you, as the data subject, the following rights:

  • Confirm that we process your data, and access it;
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • Request anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data;
  • Request portability to another provider;
  • Delete data processed on the basis of consent;
  • Know which parties we share your data with;
  • Be informed that you may withhold consent, and what that entails;
  • Withdraw consent at any time;
  • Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contato@waoconsultoria.com.br. We will respond within 15 days. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity before acting on the request.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work and, with your consent, statistics cookies. You may accept, refuse or change your choices at any time through the consent banner or the Cookie preferences link in the footer. The full list of cookies is in our Cookie Policy (currently available in Portuguese).

8. Security

We apply technical and administrative measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the site, access control to the administration panel and continuous system updates. No system is entirely immune to incidents; should one occur that may pose a relevant risk to you, we will notify you and the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), as required by art. 48 of the LGPD.

9. Minors

This site is intended for professionals and companies. We do not knowingly collect data from children or adolescents.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site itself.
